So once again we find ourselves bidding farewell to even the slightest scrap of pleasant weather for another six months at the very least. Generally speaking, it’s been a pretty decent summer in the United Kingdom – the only real downside being it’s always way too short! And while there’s of course plenty of nice things that can be said about the Great British autumn and winter, it’s pretty difficult to see the bright side of the changing of the weather if you’re currently getting around in a car that’s on its last legs. 
Here at Take My Scrap Car, we always tend to experience a huge uptick in enquiries around this time of year from those who suspect the time may have come to get rid of their old bangers.
