In order to bring in as much money as possible for the group while at the same time doing the right thing by the environment, Business Fundraising Manager Jon Panton began asking members of the public to donate their old, broken and generally unwanted cars in order for them to then be used to make money for the trust. 
Suffice to say the result was astonishing – 18 months down the line and the scheme has generated a full £25,000 in additional funding, while at the same time doing a rather larger ‘bit’ for the environment. With an extensive background in vehicle industries, he knew exactly what to do to get the best possible price for the vehicles donated, which carried from cars to trucks to motorbikes and even a jet-ski.

In this instance, the funds raised will make a huge difference to the lives of those in desperate need of help and support, making it one of the worthiest car scrapping causes we’ve ever heard of.
