The compact village of Skeyton is home to an equally compact population of around 200 permanent residents. Located an equal distance of 13 miles from both Cromer and Norwich, Skeyton brings together the best of all worlds for those who call the village home. Records suggest that Skeyton owes its name to an Old English word meaning Skeggi’s Farm, which over the years gradually evolved into the Skeyton we know today. Extensive archaeological discoveries in the region indicate the presence of settlements in and around Skeyton from as far back as the bronze age.
History lesson over, Take My Scrap Car is far more interested in the Skeyton of today and tomorrow!
