The compact and picturesque village of Sustead occupies a prominent position just 4 miles from the charming seaside town of Cromer. Mentioned in the Domesday book, history suggests that Sustead has been occupied for at least a thousand years or more. In terms of notable residents, the last great English landscape designer of the 18thcentury - Humphry Repton - was born in Sustead and resided in the village for much of his life. Today, Sustead is a small rural village with glorious green spaces on all sides, occupied by a tiny resident population scattered across a handful of beautiful households.
History lesson over for the day - we’re here to introduce an alternative to traditional Sustead car scrapping and recycling services. Take My Scrap Car was established to provide responsible motorists with the support and resources needed to do the right thing with their end-of-life vehicles. Having noted a whole bunch of issues with existing car scrapping and recycling standards, we figured the time had come for something new…and something better!
Our goal is to make every aspect of the Sustead car scrapping and recycling process as simple as possible. Unlike some, we handle the logistics and legwork on behalf of our customers from start to finish. All we need is an address, a convenient collection time and details of the scrap vehicle - we’ll handle the rest!
We’ll send one of our drivers to collect your scrap car in Sustead, or from any other location across the county. Your vehicle will be transported away and responsibly recycled, at which point you’ll be provided with a formal Certificate of Destruction for your records. We’ll ensure all DVLA admin requirements are covered for total peace of mind.
If all this wasn’t enough, we’re one of the only Sustead car scrapping and recycling specialists to offer our services 100% free of charge. Better yet, we promise to pay every customer the best possible price for their scrap vehicle - whatever its age and condition. Your Sustead scrap car will be assessed in accordance with scrap values on the day, enabling us to quote an unbeatable price. If you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll make the transfer the very same day!
